Ho hum

I got nothing. Absolutely nothing new. I mean, I had a friend visit Easter weekend, and we ate, drank, and spent Easter with my family, but otherwise, not a whole heck of a lot going on around here. My students have resorted to bullying one another, and they have pushed me so far as to just flat out yell at them for throwing centimeter cubes at one another when I walk out of the room for seriously 30 seconds. I've been told this is typical end of fifth grade year behavior. If that's true, I'm ready to trade them in for kindergartners...they're just as high maintenence and a heck of a lot smaller with hardly any attitude. Tomorrow I'm going to be observed by my principal for the first and final time this year. Wish me luck!
It's Fiesta time again in good 'ole San Antone, and that means people spend tons of time downtown, and traffic is 100% better. It's true. Yesterday I drove by the Costco, and it was deserted. I mean, you could hear crickets out there, there were so few people. I'm liking it, though. Less traffic means fewer stupid people on the road.
Oh, and I cannot believe I forgot this. I probably shouldn't be spreading this because I'm not sure how true it is, but my school was in the news for a less than wonderful reason. Read and enjoy!

new phone

woooo! i finally got a working phone so i'm attached to the world again. but my fear was realized when they couldn't get my old contacts onto my new phone. so dad and i are going to sit down this weekend and pull all my contacts off the old phone before the battery poops out. wish me luck!
